Your Friends

from Little Creep by Sneaky Mister

/

about

Forest Christenson and I co-wrote this song in 2009. I take full responsibility for the lyrics and promise this is about lots of people and nobody in particular.

The sample on this track is a couple people I overheard talking shit about their friend Bob in a coffee shop in Edinburgh in 2016. To be fair, Bob sounds very difficult.

lyrics

All your friends are beautiful
But I don't think they have souls
All your friends are beautiful
But I don't think they have souls
Why must I be pitiful
Full of hate and full of holes
All your friends are beautiful
But I don't think they have souls

See? They won't talk to me
Their eyes are all the same
Why do I feel like a dog with your friends?

All your friends are beautiful
But I don't think they have souls
Sweet and kind and lovable
But I don't think they have souls
