from Little Creep by Sneaky Mister

Adapted from the 2009 Song of the Day sketch "Swing". I rewrote it in 2014 to be about crushes. (In fact for awhile it was called "Straight Girl Crush" but that was too real.)

The ending field recording of anonymous saxophonists in the 2nd Avenue subway is also from 2014.

You haven't been sleeping
I can tell
You're keeping a secret
And it feels like hell
I know what you're doing
I do it too
You're dreaming of her
And all the things you'll never do

Like holding her shoulders
And kissing her nose
Like holding her in your arms
And under her clothes
Like feeling her body
Right up against yours
But it's all a lie
She'll never be yours
